Mr. Tadasuke Mizutani from Tokyo University of Agriculture, Japan arrived at Yogyakarta on Friday, August 1st, 2008.

He will take a sample of cucurbits infected viruses for his research study. The title of his research study is “Identification of viruses infecting Cucurbit plants in Indonesia”

Monday, June 2nd 2008 : Students and Lectures from Universitas Islam Madura came to our Laboratory. Formasigenbiougm members also Our Lectures shared some simulation :

Polyploidization in Shallot (Allium cepa L.) and Chromosomes preparation (Squashing Method) simulated by Dra. Tuty Arisuryanti, M. Sc. and Assistants

Introducing of Plant Dissease (Infected by Virus) and ArtificiaL Polination in Melon (Cucumis melo L.) for pLant breeding and Hybridization simulated by Dr. Budi Setiadi Daryono, M. Agr. Sc. and Assistant.

Dr. Budi Setiadi Daryono, M. Agr. Sc. and Ganies Riza Aristya, S. Si (Master Student in Faculty of Biology GMU) observed melons characters and take the seeds from fruits.

After Ganies Riza take the seeds from the fruits,..
